| The M38 was the second military Jeep model Willys produced. Based on the civilian CJ3A, the M38 looks much like it at first glance. The M38 electrical system was 24V, using two 12V batteries in series. A battery box was placed in the cowl to accommodate the second battery. The M38 also featured a waterproof ignition system. |
