How is my order processed?
A: We process all orders offline. This means your credit card is not charged until
your order is ready to ship. Nor will your card be charged for any item that is
back-ordered. You will receive a confirmation email with a copy of the invoice
after processing.
How is my credit card information handled?
A: All personal information is retrieved from our secure server. No credit card
information is ever sent by email.
Why do I need to provide a CVC code for my credit card?
A: This code, along with your credit card billing address, is now required by most
credit card processors. Using both helps us verify that the card owner is the one
making the purchase.
Why do you ask for info about my Jeep at checkout?
A: We do our best to check the parts you've ordered to your Jeep model. It is
also often helpful to have the serial number (if available) as some parts were
changed mid-production. If we have any questions, we'll contact you before
processing your order (another reason we don't fully automate our processing).
How is my email address used?
A: Your email address is never shared with third parties. It will only be used to
contact you regarding your order. Unless you opt-in to our email list (on our
home page), that's it.
I don't see a shipping charge. How much is the shipping?
A: Because of the variety of sizes and weights involved, we are choosing to
calculated the shipping on an order by order basis. We've found the online
shipping system does not allow the flexibility we need while still giving our
customers the best rates we can. You will receive a confirmation email with the
final total, including shipping.
What is the minimum shipping?
A: There is a minimum shipping charge of $10.00 per order. While we have no
minimum order requirements, we do recommend maximizing the shipping cost by
ordering several items at a time.
I got the part I ordered, but I have a problem, what do I do?
A: The best thing to do is give us a call. It's often easier to solve a technical
problem over the phone ... and we still like talking to people :)
The part I received does not fit my Jeep?
A: Despite providing all the asked for information about your Jeep, you may have
run into one of the inherent problems with an old Jeep. Sometimes the titles
have been mixed up or are just inaccurate and we've come across more than
one Jeep that was bits and pieces of two or three different models all mixed up.
Many previous owners 20+ years ago seem to have had no qualms at all about
mixing parts (or using baling wire and square nuts to hold it all together!). We'll
be happy to work with you to get you the correct part.
